April 2004
We hired out the foundation to Fred Bruner, semi-retired fellow
who did a fantastic job. The foundation came out level and
square to within a quarter inch and it was done very timely.
If anything is out of line after this, it will be Dave's own
doing.

Our daughter Sabine and her cousin Mike help Dave in laying
the sill plate. |

Builder Tip:
Dave uses a fence stretcher and a home-made jig to tighten the floor
boards as he laid them onto the floor joists. |

Framing out the "Goal Posts" which will be the wall
joists and 2nd floor joists. Friends came to help stand the
Posts as they are pretty heavy. |
